:yes, God has his purpose for every little thing. Even the slightest mistake we make or the little smile on the children’s face. All has his purpose. If it wasn’t for all the sufferings, we probably would not be so dependent on God. If it isn’t because of the hurt, there won’t be peace from him and healing. If everything didn’t happen, we would not be moulded by him but instead, we will be illegitimate children.

It is for discipline that you endure; God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom his father does not discipline

Furthermore, we had earthly fathers to discipline us, and we respected them; shall we not much rather be subjected to the Father of spirits, and live?

That’s also one reason why when pooh disciplines piglet, piglet is happy for indeed piglet feels like a little brother of yours and not a child abandoned.

:hm.. think this is an old post? Saw it earlier somewhere…but yes.. sometimes we should stop to see the simple things that God has made.. simple things that we used to think is unnecessary but actually each has it’s own purpose..

QT is indeed important.. We can read the bible for an entire day but yet get nothing into the head.. instead, we should just spend a little time that we place God and only God in our mind and all others to wait.. That’s why we need to have quiet time and not just a free and read basis.

When I first went back to church for the 4th time, I was troubled.. with my voice gone.. can I sing.. can I sing praises to God.. and I prayed.. “Father, please do not mind my terrible voice but I just want to sing for you” and so I sung. Today I’m still singing despite my voice being far from perfection. As long as I know you, I believe my sister is always dependant on God. =)
